<h3><em>September 5th Cheese Pizza Day</em></h3>
<p>Who doesn&#8217;t love cheese pizza? It&#8217;s my daughter&#8217;s favorite food. Make a pizza with your children. Find a new recipe. Learn how to make your own pizza crust. And don&#8217;t forget to add lots of cheese! Can&#8217;t wait to try <a href="http://thepioneerwoman.com/tasty-kitchen/recipes/main-courses/basic-pizza-crust/">this</a> pizza crust. And I love trying new sauce recipes like <a href="http://thepioneerwoman.com/tasty-kitchen/recipes/condiments/easy-pizza-sauce/">this</a> one or <a href="http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Homemade-Pizza-Sauce/Detail.aspx#">this</a> one.</p>
<h3><em>September 6th Read a Book Day</em></h3>
<p>Pick up that book you haven&#8217;t had time to read. Share the joy of reading with your children. Have them read to you or find a new book to read to them. Right now I&#8217;m reading <a href="http://www.amazon.com/Time-Travelers-Wife-Audrey-Niffenegger/dp/015602943X/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&amp;ie=UTF8&amp;qid=1283269329&amp;sr=1-1">The Time Traveler&#8217;s Wife</a> and my daughter is really into <a href="http://www.amazon.com/Magic-Tree-House-Boxed-Books/dp/0375813659/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&amp;ie=UTF8&amp;qid=1283269506&amp;sr=1-1">The Magic Treehouse Series</a>, <a href="http://www.amazon.com/Junie-Joness-First-Boxed-Books/dp/0375813616/ref=sr_1_2?s=books&amp;ie=UTF8&amp;qid=1283269677&amp;sr=1-2">Junie B Jones Series</a> and can&#8217;t wait for us to start <a href="http://www.amazon.com/Little-House-Woods-Charming-Classics/dp/0060797509/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&amp;ie=UTF8&amp;qid=1283269712&amp;sr=1-1">Little House in the Big Woods</a>.</p>

I left the right side blank, easy to slip in a 4&#215;6 photo. What a great place to keep those treasured Christmas moments from one year or many years, of your children&#8217;s lives or from your own special memories growing up.</p>

<p>Today, some of the doughnut locations here in the US are giving away free doughnuts.</p>
<p>Krispy Kreme Doughnuts is giving away a <a href="http://krispykreme.qm4.net/members/ViewMailing.aspx?MailingID=119731" target="_blank">free doughnut</a> to every customer that visits a participating Krispy Kreme store.</p>
<p>I&#8217;ve heard Dunkin&#8217; Donuts is giving away a free doughnut with the purchase of a beverage.</p>
<p>Enjoy!</p>

Whenever we would go out I would order sweet tea. Who knew every restaurant in the South had sweet tea? Then I learned how to make it! Yum! But I had to stop, my daily dose of sugar was getting out of control <img src='http://shoeboxmoments.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' /> . So now I only drink it when we go out, and, I&#8217;ve discovered, each restaurant makes it a little different. My favorite? <a href="http://www.chickfila.com/#home" target="_blank">Chick-Fil-A</a>.</p>
<p>What is your favorite iced tea? Sweet? Unsweetened? Flavored?</p>
<p>Here are some recipe links to get you started making your own iced tea.</p>
